Rich woodwork, original music-themed artwork, granite and leather furnishings and low lights make an intimate setting for patrons at Paramount Studio Piano and Wine Bar.

Combined with fine wines and beers from around the world and a musician seated at a black Yamaha grand piano, visitors to the lounge should feel welcome during the Friday opening.

The interior design is by Anita Kealey of The Design Studio. Kealey used rare Persian brown granite, rich carved wood accents and leather upholstery to help create the relaxing atmosphere.

“It’s an intimate environment, with unique lighting and a cozy feel,” Kealey says.

She commissioned [Lena Karpinsky to make] original […] paintings, done in an abstract style, to show many musical instruments. Historic gilded tin ceilings and large chandeliers give a final touch of a stately presence.
