Paramount Studio Piano and Wine design uses Lena’s Jazz Parade art series

The new Paramount Studio Piano and Wine bar opened in June 2007 in downtown Sioux Falls has nine large Lena’s jazz music paintings on the walls.

The interior design is by Anita Kealey of The Design Studio. Kealey used rare Persian brown granite, rich carved wood accents and leather upholstery to help create the relaxing atmosphere.

“It’s an intimate environment, with unique lighting and a cozy feel,” Kealey says.

Lena’s art at Bands of America Super Regional – 2007

A marching band show called “The Art of Tango” featuring the music of Astor Piazzolla and artworks by Lena Karpinsky was a part of the Bands of America Super Regional in 2007. Below is a couple of photos made at one of the regional rehearsals.
